Arusha → Marangu Gate → Mandara Hut

Pickup in Arusha (or Moshi) → drive to Marangu Gate

Trek through rainforest to Mandara Hut (2720 m)
Dinner & overnight at Mandara Hut

Day 2

Mandara Hut → Horombo Hut

Trek across heath & moorland
Views of Kibo and Mawenzi
Dinner & overnight at Horombo Hut (3720 m)

Day 3

Horombo Hut → Kibo Hut

Long day ascending through alpine desert
Dinner & overnight at Kibo Hut (4703 m)

Day 4

Summit Day (Kibo Hut → Uhuru Peak → Horombo Hut)

Midnight start
Summit at Uhuru Peak (~5895 m) for sunrise
Descend to Horombo Hut
Overnight at Horombo Hut

Day 5

Horombo Hut → Marangu Gate → Arusha/Moshi

Final descent through moorland & rainforest
Summit certificates, transfer back to Arusha or Moshi
